... I have it. Not really. But I had a good weekend: Friday I saw an opera (The Marriage of Figaro) and Saturday I went to the Columbus Symphony Orchestra for Beethoven night. They played his third Leonore overture, his third piano concerto in c-minor and his fifth symphony in c-minor. It was the end of the season too, which I find kind of funny. I don't know how much more cliché you can get than playing Beethoven's fifth... xD I do like the third piano concerto a fair amount, though the fifth or "Emperor" is by FAR my favourite of his, and actually just one of my favourite piano concertos over all. Rachmaninoff's second and third, Tchaikovsky's first and I believe Mozart's 23d are my other favourites. It's hard to keep all of the Mozart's straight haha. Ooh and Brahms' first too... Maybe even Prokofiev's third. On a good day. :paranoid: STFU MACK.

LISTEN TO ME RAMBLE. I'll end the music talk for now... but be warned, an updated Top Ten classical pieces as well as a best moments/lines/themes in music journal is on the way. :evillaugh:

New topic time... hmm. I'm almost out of school, hallelujah. Just the rest of this week plus Monday of next week and I am FREE. I don't really mind going to class at all (especially since I hardly ever have homework) but I miss being close to my friends; I want to be able to see them every day again.

I have a lot of plans for this summer, though we'll see if even a fraction of them are completed haha. I really, really need to create reference sheets for my characters. My failure at drawing/colouring digitally has been my main limitation in this and I'm not sure what's going to change but by God I will figure out something. On the same note, I plan to be writing a lot this summer, both with Raven and on my own, doing more character studies. They're hard to just 'crank out' though; generally the scene or situation just comes to me, appears in my mind, weird as that sounds. Yes, yes. I'm crazy.

Haha oh, so I totally took a 'Mary-Sue' test for some of my characters. If you don't know what a literary Mary-Sue is, go educate yourself and then come back to this.

Tierza scored fairly low, with a 6. Ani got a 20, mostly due to her rather tumultuous life. She was turned to a vampire at a young age, and about four years later was more or less taken as a captive of a war ravaging our (Raven and myself) fantasy world. I don't consider Ani to be very Sue-like at all though, despite the whole vampire/captive thing. Sky got a 12, and in terms of the test I feel like she is much more Sue-like than Ani. Not that she IS a Sue (I don't think!) but I feel like she has more of the common qualities than apathetic and anti-social Ani. I guess I had to check the 'Villain has an obsession with your character' box and a fair amount of the angsty childhood boxes, even though Ani does NOT angst over them. xD And the villain isn't even played by me so I probably should not have checked it because it wasn't MY plan for Ani. Oh well. ANI YOU'RE A MARY SUE! :ohnoes:

Well. That's it for now.

OH WAIT. Quote time! This is pretty much an entire conversation I had with one of my friends. We are... special. And yes we understood every word. xD
